MAR member, Sharon Millett named chairman of the Board of Regents for REALTOR® University
REALTOR® University Appoints Sharon A. Millett Chairman of the BoardDecember 16, 2013
REALTOR® University named Sharon A. Millett of Poland Spring, Maine as its Chairman of the Board of Regents, responsible for providing strategic direction, oversight and management to REALTOR® University, which delivers educational programs to students through a global online campus.
Millett has been a member of REALTOR® University's Board of Regents since 2012. As Chair, Millett
will help govern REALTOR® University by establishing programs, policies and objectives, ensuring sufficient resources are available for university operations, and being accountable for the university's financial performance.
Millett is a Past President of the National Association of REALTORS'®(NAR), the Maine Association of
REALTOR® and was a founding Co-President of the International Consortium of Real Estate Associations. Sharon currently serves on the Board of Central Maine Health Care, the Executive Committee of NAR and is the Chairman of the Maine Real Estate Commission.

REALTOR® University is an Illinois 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation established by the National
Association of REALTORS® and organized and operated exclusively for educational, research and related purposes. The affairs of the University are under the direction of its Board of Regents. REALTOR® University operates a degree granting educational institution that offers and awards a graduate degree concentrating on real estate and real estate business - the Masters Real Estate (MRE), offers professional development and continuing education in real estate, provides scholarship assistance programs and has developed and operates the Richard J. Rosenthal Center for Real Estate Studies to conduct and disseminate real estate research, data and analysis. Realtor University is located at North Michigan Avenue in Chicago, Illinois.
